选择了新疆海岛棉300份原始材料;3个区试点的8个海岛棉供试品种;选用新疆自育的海岛棉5个零式果枝型品种(系)和外引的海岛棉4个长果枝品种(系),按5×4不完全双列杂交遗传设计配置杂交组合及相应的回交组合,分别进行海岛棉纤维含糖量与其品质、微观结构、生态条件之间的相关关系研究和海岛棉纤维含糖量的遗传研究。建立了棉纤维含糖量的紫外分光光度测定法和海岛棉综合性状数据库。系统地探讨了海岛棉纤维含糖量与比强度、微观结构参数、生态条件之间的关系,揭示出了海岛棉“高糖低强”的微观原因。以实验数据为依据报道了海岛棉纤维含糖量是微效多基因控制的数量性状。提出了认遗传育种、优化纤维晶区取向性、调控发育、耕作栽培、提纯复壮等综合技术措施来解决新疆海岛棉“高糖低强”问题。
Abstract:Selected 300 original materials of 8 varieties forexperiments from 3 blocks, 5 zero-fruit -branch varieties of self- bred island cotton and 4 long-fruit -branch varieties of introduced island cotton were arranged in 5 ×4 incomplete double breed crossing design for breed combination for crossing and for rotational crossing to conduct research on relativity of fiber sugar content to quality. microstructure or ecological condition, and on heredity of sugar content of island cotton fiber. Ultraviolet spectrophotometry of sugar content and a data base were established. Systematic discussion wasmade on the relationship between sugar content of cotton fiber with specific intensity, microstructure parameter and ecological condition, revealed the microcause of high sugar and low intensity. Based on experimental data it was reported that sugar content of island cotton fiber was microeffective -and -multigenetic - controlled quantitive property. It was suggested that comprehensive technological measures should be applied to solve the high - sugar - and - low - intensity problem of Xinjiang island cotton including genetic breeding, optimizing fiber crystal direction-taking, adjusting growth, ploughing and culturing, and putifying and recovering strenth.
